The awhi and manaakitanga that has been offered by Tandem Group to enable and empower Taranaki Retreat Trust’s Suicide Prevention and Community Support work is second to none.
It is a challenging irony that nobody wants to donate to a good cause and see their gift eaten up in administration but everyone wants their gift to be safely used and for financial processes to be, as you would expect, scrupulous.
In 2014 – during our early inception phase, Tandem Group extended exactly the solution to this: “How about we help by assisting with the mahi that we are skilled at – so that you can focus on the mahi that you are skilled at?” ….over the years – just how competent, kind and capable the Tandem Group Whānau is has been a resource to our community work – that has supported us to the extent that is no exaggeration to say that – “We couldn’t have done it without you.”
